Nishi-nishi
'Nishi-nishi' is one of my favourite galleries in Takamatsu.
This is an old Japanese house and they reformed a part of the house as a gallery. They have exhibitions regularly and every show is really fascinating!
This is gallery space. When I visited there the other day, they had an exhibition of one of the most greatest Japanese etching artists, Makoto Matsubayashi. Personally, I'm a huge fan of him! :)
They also have some fancy goods like antique blouse, hand made crafts, accesorries, and sometimes pottery, etc. All the owner's choice is deeply rooted in comfortable life. Those items nicely come in to our eyes and hearts as well. :)
Unique crafts by a textile artist, Akiko Iwamoto.
These items are available only here.
Reflecting the owner's personality, the room is fill with warm, gentle air as you can see. I always enjoy talking to her and forget the time passes. :)
